The Lying Game’s Randy Wayne Saves Hundreds of Kids’ Lives

The Lying Game’s Randy Wayne has played several characters – from the hot but secretive Justin to smooth moves Brandon in Honey 2 – but one role in particular has been especially significant to him.

“I did a movie called To Save a Life, which is about a number of issues facing teenagers, in particular bullying and teen suicide,” the 30-year-old Oklahoma native tells “I couldn’t believe the response I got to my work in that film after it came out. Kids wrote telling me, ‘Thank you for saving my life. I was going to commit suicide, but then I watched your movie and it made me realize that my life is worth something.’”

Because of those powerful words, Randy now looks at his job in a new light and values the impact he can make. “I’ve received hundreds of letters, e-mails and messages like that from kids. It’s just phenomenal,” he continues explaining. “I get teary-eyed reading them, and I can’t quite believe it’s because of something I did in a movie. I’ve since worked on a few other positive message films, and I hope to keep doing them because helping save someone else’s life and getting to be an actor at the same time is a rare privilege.”

If you’re feeling depressed, you should always try to talk to someone you trust (whether a parent, relative, legal guardian, guidance counselor, or medical professional). If there’s nobody that you know who you’re comfortable talking to, you can contact one of the resources below:

“Apple needs to retain its focus on delivering compelling products and services to the consumer. This means fixing the issues that the current services have while improving them,” Baker added. “Additionally, Apple needs to demonstrate that it still has the ability to innovate and invent products that consumers don’t know that they need or want yet.”
