Who left Forks for Phoenix? Ethan’s father!
“[He's] played by Gil Birmingham, who is in a little series called Twilight. I don’t know if you’ve ever heard of it, but he plays Taylor Lautner’s father. We’re all very excited to have him there,” Alexandra Chando gushes to Zap2it.
Gil headed down to Texas in the middle of December to shoot his scenes as Ben Whitehorse, Ethan and Dan’s dad. From what we can tell, Ethan meets his father in the Feb. 6 episode, “Reservation for Two.” Ben will appear in at least three episodes, and this week Gil tweeted from The Lying Game set once again. “I’mmm baaack. Love mixing it with the Lying Game! No, Really!!!” he posted.
And Blair’s pretty psyched to have some werewolf genes in his fam. “@gilbirmingham playin m’dad on Lying Game. Might recognize him from mildly successful film franchise, The Twilight Saga,” he tweeted along with a photo of the on-screen father and son team.
